Brielle Woman Killed After Two Taxis Strike Her In New York City

A 22-year-old Brielle woman was struck and killed Thursday by two taxis Thursday while crossing a street in New York City, police said.

At 11:38 p.m., Kelly Gordon was crossing York Avenue near East 84th Street when she was struck by a taxi cab traveling south, police said.

She was then thrown into the northbound lanes, where she was struck by another taxi, police said.

Gordon suffered a head injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at New York Presbyterian-Cornell Hospital, police said.

Gordon was a 2010 graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School and was expected to graduate in 2014 from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management, according to her Linkedin page.
