Brielle Man Indicted on Burglary, Theft Charges
Monmouth County grand jury hands up charges
A Brielle man broke into a Belmar home and then used the residents' stolen credit cards to buy goods, according to an indictment handed up this week by a Monmouth County grand jury.
Christopher M. Pellegrino, 26, of Maple Lane in Brielle burglarized a Belmar home on Nov. 17 and stole more than $500 in various items, the indictment stated.
The following day, Pellegrino used a Bank of America credit card stolen from the home to make several purchases at Stop & Shop, Game Stop and Cash It In, authorities said.

Pellegrino was indicted on charges including burglary, theft of movable property, three counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and attempted fraudulent use of a credit card.
In a separate incident, Pellegrino was indicted on burglary and theft of movable property charges after police said he burglarized a Neptune home Nov. 9 and stole a Kindle and jewelry.
