Birthday Indictment For Manasquan Man

Some people like presents. Others, cake.

But for his 19th birthday, a Monmouth County Grand Jury this week said a Manasquan man decided to disarm a uniformed police officer instead.

Harrison Braverman, 19, of Cedar Avenue, was indicted on a single count of disarming a law enforcement officer, a second degree offense, according to the indictment.

The indictment stems from an incident on Braverman’s birthday, April 4, in the borough, according to the indictment, which is short on details and names the borough officer only by the initials “K.S.’’

No other information was immediately available.
