Belmar Woman Charged With Arranging Heroin Deal Through Texting

A 43-year-old Belmar woman was indicted Wednesday on possession of heroin charges after allegedly trying to arrange the deal through texting, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.

Lisa Weakley allegedly possessed heroin on Jan. 6 Belmar when she was charged, according to court records.

Weakley sent text messages to arrange for the drug's delivery and appeared at a pre-arranged location to receive it, according to records.

She was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and conspiracy, according to records. No bail information was available.
