Belmar Police Charge Three With Drug Possession

Department reports arrests during first half of July

Belmar police arrested and charged three individuals with drug possession during the first half of July, according to a department release. 

Two of the three charged were Belmar and Lake Como residents, the latter of whom was arrested with a Marlboro resident during the same incident. 

On July 9, Tariq Davis-Turner, 19, of Lake Como, and Brendan Brock, 19, of Marlboro, were arrested at Seventh Avenue and the Belmar Marina and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Special Officer Christopher Inglis and Officer Ryan Nolan made the arrests, respectively.

On July 15, Alecia Perreault, 20, of Belmar, was arrested at the corner of 16th Avenue and Ocean Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of marijuana. Special Officer Corey Whitman made the arrest.
