A Belmar man broke into a Lower Main Street home Wednesday afternoon and snatched a bucket of change, Aberdeen Police Chief John Powers said.

A woman confronted James M. Frank, 21, in the home and a struggle ensued, according to police. The bucket contained about $400 worth of change, according to the arrest warrant.

Frank allegedly shoved the woman, who was an acquaintance, and ran. Aberdeen Sgt. Raymond Sosa later arrested Frank in Keyport, the release said.

Frank was charged with robbery, burglary and theft. He was taken to Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township, in lieu of $65,000 bail, according to the release.
