Belmar Man Indicted on Making Terroristic Threats

Robert. J Stout faces three counts stemming from summer arrest in the borough

A Monmouth County grand jury this week indicted a Belmar man on charges of making terroristic threats in the borough last summer, documents show.

Robert J. Stout, 42, of 14th Avenue, faces three counts stemming from his July 18 arrest in which police say, while weilding a knife, he terrorized and threatened violence against a victim, the indictment says.

Stout is charged with third-degree terroristic threats, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, the indictment says.
