Belmar Man Indicted on Drug, Weapon Charges

Andrew J. Bernheim was arrested in Bradley Beach last March

A Belmar man is facing drug and weapon charges in Superior Court, stemming from an arrest in Bradley Beach last spring, documents show.

Andrew J. Bernheim, 31, of Ocean Avenue, was arrested March 14 in Bradley Beach for alleged possession of cocaine and folding knives, according to the indictment.

Bernheim faces two counts in the indictment handed up Sept. 13 by a Freehold grand jury, which charged him with third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.

The indictment is signed by acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
