Belmar Man Arrested Twice in As Many Days
Charged with making terroristic threats, harassment, drug possession
A Belmar man last was arrested twice in as many days and faces drug and weapons charges, authorities said.
Police arrested Kareem Abou-Gharbia, 31, on Aug. 4 in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue and charged him with , according to a release from the Belmar Police Department.
Abou-Gharbia was arrested the following day, Aug. 5, at Ninth Avenue and Main Street and charged with making terroristic threats and unlawful possession of a weapon, the release says.

Special Officer Christopher Ingliss made the Aug. 4 arrest, and Officer Michael Yee and Special Officer Michael Rzigalinski made the Aug. 5 arrest, the release says.
Abu-Gharbia was also in the 600 block of Main Street and charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, according to a previous release. Officer Erik Lieb made that arrest.
