The annual candy cane hunt in Manasquan, originally scheduled for tonight at 6 p.m., has been postponed because of rain.
The candy cane hunt, which attracts more than 1,000 kids annually, has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Dec. 13 -- yes, Friday the 13th.
Belmar also has rescheduled its tree lighting ceremony to the same date and time. No word yet from Wall Township that lighting will go on as planned tonight.
