"Social and Behavioral Supports for Teens" SEPAC Meeting

Workshop on "Social and Behavioral Supports For Teens"  

Please join the Point Pleasant Special Education Parent Advisory Committee for this free and informative workshop where we will discuss dating, social skills, and positive behavioral supports for teens. 
 
This workshop is presented by Cheryl Kasper, a social worker and clinical therapist who runs Ocean County Social Skills in Toms River.  Co-presenting will be Dr. Lisa Sulsenti, a chiropractor, nutritionist and parent of a child with ASD.  She is also the author of the "Overtilted Child"

The meeting will be held in the Ocean Road Elementary School cafeteria. Once again, the high school "Student Ambassadors" will be providing babysitting in the lobby, so please bring along your children! 
 
We want to give a big thank you to all the Pt. Pleasant Paraprofessionals who came to our appreciation event last month.  The para's were treated to cake, coffee, treats, gift bags filled with goodies and a variety of door prizes - many thanks to the committee and sponsors who worked so hard to put this together.
 
Just a reminder - parents, teachers, grandparents and friends are all welcome to attend the meetings.  Refreshments will also be served, and we want the evening to be enjoyable and worth your time.  We value your feedback, and are here to help in any way we can. We have also posted a wealth of information on our website.  If you are unable to attend the meeting, the handouts and information are available to you at www.pointpleasantsepac.com
