NJ Elks Plunge

Each year hundreds of hardy volunteers brave the freezing Atlantic Ocean in the cold of winter to raise money for the Elks Camp Moore, a camp for children with special needs and Children’s Specialized Hospital, the nation’s largest provider of pediatric rehabilitation services for children with special needs with twelve locations throughout New Jersey. They are gearing up again: The New Jersey Elks’ 7th Annual John Sentner Memorial Plunge “Freezin’ for a Reason” will take place Saturday, March 8 at Manasquan Beach.  Check in starts at 10 a.m. and the plunge is at 12:00 p.m.
