Belmar Chase 5k

The Belmar Chase 5K (3.1 miles) will begin at 8:30 a.m.
on Ocean Avenue in Belmar.  It offers a flat, fast course with LIVE entertainment along the way.  With prizes awarded to both
overall and age-group winners, the event will again feature a “race
before the race” with a Celebrity Chase. Mayors and
community leaders from local towns, along with other celebrities, will
compete in a handicap race on the same course, just before the main
event officially starts. With the support of Barnabas Health,
the event will offer a purse of $7,500 to recreation departments of
participating community leaders and celebrities.
