Wall Teacher Posts Bail, Pleads Not Guilty To Sex Charge

Kalee Warnick has pleaded not guilty to charges of child endangerment and sexual contact of a student, and has posted bail, the Monmouth County prosecutors office has said.
The 22-year-old Wall Township woman was charged last week with aggravated criminal sexual contact with a student, county prosecutor's records show.
Officials said Warnick has posted bail, which was set July 30 at $50,000.
According to police documents, Warnick allegedly had an improper relationship with a 15-year-old male student that included sexual contact. The warrant does not go into further detail about the nature of the incident.

The complaint, out of Wall Township, charges Warnick with aggravated criminal sexual contact, a third degree crime, and one count of having a sexual relationship with a minor she had responsibility of the care of, which is a second degree crime.

The incident was reported to Wall Police on July 14, according to the court documents.

Warnick works as an English teacher for the high school, and at the May school board meeting she was one of four teachers approved for summer in-home instruction for a student at a rate of $52 an hour for 10 hours.
