Normal Garbage Schedule in Belmar; Manasquan's Canceled

Belmar reminding residents to separate bulk from normal trash

Garbage pickup in Belmar will run as scheduled this week, but Manasquan officials announced Thursday that the borough's pickups would be suspended for the near future. 

Belmar asks residents to separate bulk items from their regular garbage. 

In downtown Belmar on Thursday, local volunteers were canvassing the streets with information directly from Mayor Matt Doherty.

  1. All vehicles parked from C Street up to Ocean Avenue must be off the streets by 7 a.m. Friday. Unless the vehicle is under water, it will be towed. 
  2. The borough's non-emergency contact telephone number is: 732-681-3700.
  3. Ocean Avenue is closed. 
  4. County curfew is in place from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
