Disaster Recovery Centers Will Be Closed On Thanksgiving

New daily schedule begins Friday

New Jersey Disaster Recovery Centers, opened in the wake of Superstorm Sandy, will be closed Thanksgiving and begin a set of new hours Friday, state officials announced Wednesday.

The change also applies to the Small Business Administration's Business Recovery Centers.

Starting Friday, Nov. 23, all except the Bay Head center in Ocean County will go to a daily schedule of 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. to assist people who suffered damage during Sandy. The Bay Head center will resume its previous schedule of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. since a curfew is still in effect.
