'10th Ave. Freeze-Out' to Rebuild Belmar

Tickets on sale this week at local bars; event Saturday, Nov. 24.

Several local bars on Saturday are scheduled to participate in the first-ever "10th Avenue Freeze Out" to raise money for the rebuilding effort in Belmar. 

A $20 donation gets each attendee two free drink tickets, free buffet, live entertainment and admission at all participating bars (Bar Anticipation, Boathouse, Connolly Station, 507 Main, Nicchio and Jack's Tavern). 

Other restaurants donating food include Surf Taco, Tulipano's, 10th Avenue Burrito, Jersey Shore BBQ, and Brandl.

The event is set to kickoff 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at Pyanoe Plaza (Ninth Avenue and Main Street) in Belmar. 

Advance tickets can be purchased Tuesday from 6 p.m. to close at the Boathouse, and Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Connolly Station. T-shirts will be on sale at both locations (all sizes available).

Proceeds from t-shirt sales will go to St. Rose High School. They can also be ordered online at rebuildbelmarnj.com.
