Finally, the World War II veteran got his power on today! (No heat for him yet though ~ waiting for furnace parts..well, nothing in life is easy..as he often reminds me...) At four o'clock this afternoon, after working on his home continuously since 7:00 am, I insisted he take a break. He sat in his chair and it embraced his weary body like an old, kind, friend, and he just said, "At the 11th hour on the 11th day ~ Veteran's Day, it all comes together!" Before I headed home, I hugged him and he whispered, "I need to compile my list for tomorrow.." Situation normal...:)
