High Temps, Air Quality Advisory For Monmouth County on Monday, Tuesday

The National Weather Service has issued an air quality advisory for Monday and Tuesday, June 24 and 25, for Monmouth County. Here is the complete announcement from the NWS:

An Ozone Action Day has been declared for Monmouth, NJ, on Monday, Jun 24 Today and Tomorrow's Forecast
June 24: Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups Ozone
Tuesday, Jun 25: Moderate Ozone

June 24 - An Ozone Action Day has been declared! Ozone is forecast to reach the unhealthy for sensitive groups category across New Jersey due to southwest winds, sunny skies and hot temperatures. Sensitive individuals, including the young, elderly, and persons with respiratory diseases such as asthma, should avoid strenuous outdoor activity during the afternoon and evening hours. In addition, fine particles are forecast to reach well into the moderate category across the Garden State due to high humidity. 

June 25 - Ozone may again reach the unhealthy for sensitive groups category due to southwest winds and hot temperatures, however, the timing and location of rain showers may affect how severe and widespread unhealthy ozone concentrations will be measured. Check back for updated ozone action forecasts. Fine particles are forecast to reach well into the moderate category due to high humidity.
