Weekend Nightlife Round Up

Harrigan’s Pub, 703 Baltimore Blvd, Sea Girt- “Failze,” or “welcome” has been the slogan at this pub since 1981. A cozy, yet bustling place, Harrigan’s provides good times all around.

• Thursday: Craft beer night with $4.00 craft beer pints, $5.00 craft beer flights and select bottles, and $1.00 mini menu (burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, pork roll & cheese.)

• Saturday: Hey Bulldog performing live (Beatles tribute.) Specials include (from 3 to 6p.m.) free sub sandwiches, Harrigan’s famous raw bar, and $9.99 ¼ pound lobster.

Boathouse, 1309 Main St, Belmar-The mother of all shore bars, Boathouse is a nautically-themed haven for surfers and beach-goers. They have killer drink specials and nightly entertainment.

• Friday: Pat Roddy Band performs live at 9p.m.. Drink specials include: (open to 6pm) $1.75 domestic drafts, $2.50 domestic bottles, $3.50 premium drafts, (6pm-close): $2.50 Bud and Bud Lights, $4.00 rum and cokes.

• Saturday: Rory Daniels Band plays at 9p.m. Drink specials include: (open to 4pm)  $4.00 Bloody Marys, $3.00 Miller Lite bottles, (6pm to close) $3.00 Sam Adams drafts and $4.00 Three Olives drinks.

• Sunday: Live music with Joe Baracata Band.

Bar Anticipation, 703 16th Ave, Lake Como- One of the biggest and wildest shore clubs, Bar A has a wide spread of sand bars, cabanas, tiki bars, and club floors. It is the place to be all summer long.

• Friday: $2.75 Bud and Bud Lights and $2.00 drinks from 9 to 11p.m., plus award winning happy hour with $2.25 pints from 4 to 9 p.m. with DJ Billy Reybert and DJ Mike. Free admission until 9p.m. DJ Redline on Grotto Beach at 9p.m. Live music with Rumor Has It at 10p.m.

• Saturday: Famous Dance Party from 9 to 11:30p.m. with $2.75 Amstel and Heinekens. DJ Billy Reybert on Grotto Beach 9p.m. to close with happy hour from 2 to 8p.m.

• Sunday: Wett party on Grotto Beach from 11a.m. to 8p.m. with outdoor dance floor, VIP cabanas, bottle service, and specials on seafood and raw bar. Seafood Sundays with all you can eat snow crabs starting at 1p.m.

The Irish Rail, 229 East Main St, Manasquan-The Irish Rail is conveniently located at the Manasquan train station. They specialize in burgers, stews, and Irish breakfast. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 11a.m. to 7p.m.

• Thursday: Irish Night with $3.00 Guinness, Smithwick, and Harp. Buy one get one free reubens and corned beef sandwiches. Live Irish music from 6p.m. to 9p.m.

• Friday: $2.50 Coors Lights and live music at 8p.m.

St.Stephen’s Green Publick House, 2031 Hwy 71, Spring Lake Heights-Named after a park in Dublin, this enchanting pub and Irish restaurant is one of the most authentic in the state. There are daily menu specials and weekend live entertainment.

• Saturday: Live music with Billy Lawlor at 9:30p.m.
