The Weekend's Best Nightlife

Summer isn't over, especially for you locals who are anticipating this next month's empty streets and vanishing bar crowds. So, get out there and enjoy it!

A large Irish pub and restaurant, Connolly Station has it all--from late night dancing to Sunday football.

• Friday: Paul Cilinski's Back Yard B.B.Q happy hour at 5 p.m. The Pickles 10 p.m. in the main bar and DJ Dave in the Dublin Bar. Power Hour from 9 to 10 p.m. with no cover and $1 Coors Light bottles.

• Saturday: Toxic Twins at 4 p.m. Threat Level Midnight at 10 p.m. in the main bar and DJ A.K. in the Dublin Bar. $2.50 Miller Lites and $3 Leinenkugal Summer Shandys.

• Sunday: The Bobby Byrne Show at 4 p.m. with $2.50 Miller Lites. DJ Rob and Sunday Funday Mug Club at 9 p.m. with $2 20 ounce Miller Lite and Coors Light mugs.

The Irish Rail, 229 East Main St, Manasquan

The Irish Rail is conveniently located at the Manasquan train station. They specialize in burgers, stews, and Irish breakfast. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Friday: $2.50 Coors Lights and live music at 8 p.m.

• Saturday: $2.50 Miller Lite drafts and bottles, live music at 8:30 p.m.

507 is nothing fancy, but thats why we love it. They have an amazing happy hour, a great back room with live music and late night DJs, and a tv-lined bar to watch all the big games.

• Friday: DJ Swat & Storm late night. All beers are $2.50 from 4 to 7 p.m.

• Saturday: Joe Baracata Band; late night party hits with DJ Kel & Anubis. All beers are $2.50 from 3 to 7 p.m.

Leggett’s is one of the most popular and bustling clubs at the Shore. Their daily drink specials are usually some of the best.

• Friday: $2 happy hour from 4 to 8 p.m. and $2.50 Miller Lites from noon to midnight.  Turnpike Mike and Randy on the patio starting at 5 p.m.

• Saturday: Blu Sky Duo featuring Jim Long on the patio from 1 to 5 p.m. Bud Bingo from 2 to 5 p.m. Prime rib night from 5 to 10 p.m. with $2.50 Bud and Bud Lights all day. $5 Jack Daniels Honey drinks from noon to 6 p.m.

• Sunday: Jeff Cafone on the patio from 6 to 10 p.m. Under Pressure at 10 p.m. $2.50 Bud/Bud Lights from noon to close. 

Harrigan’s Pub, 703 Baltimore Blvd, Sea Girt

“Failze,” or “welcome” has been the slogan at this pub since 1981. A cozy, yet bustling place, Harrigan’s provides good times all around.

• Saturday: Live music with Sonny Kenn Trio. Specials include (from 3 to 6p.m.) free sub sandwiches, Harrigan’s famous raw bar, and $9.99 ¼ pound lobster.

• Sunday: Live music with Billy Hector at 7:30 p.m.
