The Weekend's Best Nightlife

A look at the best in Jersey Shore nightlife for the weekend of July 29 to July 31

Scratch the routine weekend plans and check out somewhere new. We've got a list of the best bars and restaurants to spend a night out at, all while saving you money with daily drink specials!

Named after a park in Dublin, this enchanting pub and Irish restaurant is one of the most authentic in the state. There are daily menu specials and weekend live entertainment.

  • Friday: Live music with Paul Cargiulo at 9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: Live music with Green Underground at 9:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: The Bantry Boys at 6 p.m.

A large Irish pub and restaurant, Connolly Station has it all--from late night dancing to Sunday football.

  • Friday: Paul Cilinski's Back Yard B.B.Q happy hour at 5 p.m. The Pickles 10p.m. in the main bar and DJ Dave in the Dublin Bar.
  • Saturday: Toxic Twins at 4 p.m. No Standards at 10 p.m. in the main bar and DJ A.K. in the Dublin Bar.
  • Sunday: DJ Rob and Sunday Funday Mug Club at 9 p.m. with $2 20 ounce Miller Lite and Coors Light mugs.

One of the biggest and wildest shore clubs, Bar A has a wide spread of sand bars, cabanas, tiki bars, and club floors. It is the place to be all summer long.

  • Friday: $2.75 Bud and Bud Lights and $2 drinks from 9 to 11 p.m., plus award winning happy hour with $2.25 pints from 4 to 9 p.m. with DJ Billy Reybert and DJ Mike. Free admission until 9 p.m. DJ Redline on Grotto Beach at 9 p.m. Live music with Someone Say Something at 10 p.m.
  • Saturday: Famous Dance Party from 9 to 11:30 p.m. with $2.75 Amstel and Heinekens. DJ Billy Reybert on Grotto Beach 9p.m. to close with happy hour from 2 to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday: Wett party on Grotto Beach from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with outdoor dance floor, VIP cabanas, bottle service, and specials on seafood and raw bar.

A laid back and casual bar, Paul’s attracts mostly locals, and is one of the only taverns that kick off happy hour at 7am daily!

  • Saturday: Free burgers at 3 p.m. at patio bar. DJ Rocco in front room with no cover. Beat the Clock with $5 pitchers starting at 9 p.m. (increases by $1 every hour until midnight).
  • Sunday: The Tropical Pub’s Breakfast Bingo at 1 p.m. Free burgers at 3 p.m. at patio bar.
  • Happy hour runs everyday of the week from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., except Sunday which runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Leggett’s Sand Bar is one of the most popular and bustling clubs at the Shore. Their daily drink specials are usually some of the best.

  • Friday: $2 happy hour from 4 to 8 p.m. and $2.50 Miller Lites from noon to midnight.  Turnpike Mike and Randy on the patio starting at 5 p.m.
  • Saturday: Lee and Sherri on the patio from 1 to 5 p.m. Bud Bingo from 2 to 5 p.m. Prime rib night from 5 to 10 p.m. with $2.50 Bud and Bud Lights all day. $5 Jack Daniels Honey drinks from noon to 6 p.m.
  • Sunday: Mike Dalton Duo on the patio from 2 to 6 p.m. Under Pressure at 10 p.m. $2.50 Bud/Bud Lights from noon to close.
