"An Evening of the World's Best Short Films," will take place at The Algonquin Arts Theatre in Manasquan on Saturday at 8 p.m.
Asbury Shorts NY, which will present this showcase of world-renowned short films, is New York City's longest running short film exhibition and touring show that features elite, award-winning short films from the past and present.
The event, presented in a two-hour showcase without competition and long speeches, with be the third show at the Algonquin.
Past hosts of show in NYC have included: Edie Falco, Adrian Grenier, Matthew Modine, Olympia Dukakis and Richard Belzer...all appearing to show their support for our mission to keep great short films in theaters as opposed to smartphones, iPads or computers, organizers say.
