Speed Limit Restrictions Remain in Place on Parkway Due to Weather

Road conditions have forced speed limit reductions since Tuesday.

Speed limit reductions remain in effect on the the Garden State Parkway as a result of the winter storm that struck the region on Tuesday, according to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority's website.

As of 10:35 a.m., the speed limit is reduced to 35 miles an hour in both directions on the Garden State Parkway between Southern Terminus/CR 109 in Cape May to the Asbury Toll Plaza in Tinton Falls, and 45 between Exit 129 in Woodbridge and New York State Line in Montvale due to road conditions.

The speed limit had been reduced on the New Jersey Turnpike, but as of 10:35, no restrictions were listed on the New Jersey Turnpike Authority's website for that road.
