Sea Girt: Boardwalk, Historic Lighthouse

Beach badge prices, lifeguard hours

Nestled between Spring Lake and Manasquan, Sea Girt has a 1.75-mile stretch of beach featuring a beautiful boardwalk and a historic lighthouse.

  • Beach badges: $100 for seasonal pass; $9 daily. Senior citizen badges for ages 65 and older are $55. Children 12 and younger and all active duty military and their immediate family are free. Required on weekends beginning Memorial Day weekend and daily after June 16 through Labor Day. They can be purchased, cash only, at the Main Pavilion and other designated areas along the beachfront from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Lifeguard hours: Daily beginning June 16 from 9:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. 
  • Parking: Street parking.
  • Bathrooms: Comfort stations are available along the boardwalk.
  • Food and drink: Food is prohibited on Sea Girt beaches. Non-alcoholic drinks in non-perishable containers are permitted.
  • Bath House Lockers: $950 for season locker (includes five seasonal beach badges); $15 per weekday; $18 per day on weekends and holidays. Seniors will receive $45 discount per beach badge.
