Third Annual Belmar Restaurant Tour puts Belmar's eateries on display

Belmar's finest eateries will be on display on Sunday when the Third Annual Belmar Restaurant Tour comes to town.

Twenty-five restaurants, bars and cafes will play host to a crowd estimated to reach nearly 1,000 people.

Tour participants will be allowed to travel at their own pace, visiting participating restaurants and sampling a signature creation by that establishment's chef.

The event is a benefit for a number of worthy causes including St. Rose Grammar School, The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and the Belmar Chamber of Commerce.

For added convenience, organizers have arranged for two trolleys to shuttle participants to some of the restaurants. The first trolley will operate on a continuous loop between Jake's Crab Shack, Matisse, Sonny's Bar and Grill, Belmar Plaza, Klein's and La Dolce Vita. The second trolley will service Belmar Plaza, Bar Anticipation, Mr. Shrimp and the Ragin' Cajun.
