Route 71 was closed for a large portion of the morning for Pres. Barack Obama's Monmouth County visit yesterday.
In Manasquan, locals lined the roadway to spot the president's motorcade as it drove by, many waving and holding flags, or just hoping to get a glimpse amid all the excitement, or even just hoping the road would soon reopen for traffic.
