REMINDER: Manasquan's Independence Day Parade, Fireworks Rescheduled to Saturday
Same time, same place to scheduled events
Manasquan officials have decided to reschedule the annual Independence Day parade and fireworks, scheduled for July 3, to Saturday, July 5 due to expected inclement weather forecast for Thursday.
The parade and fireworks on Saturday will begin at the same times and places where they had been previously scheduled.
The day will begin with the annual Patriotic Bicycle Decorating Contest at 5:15 p.m. at the Little League Field, with the parade starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Manasquan Coast Guard Station, which makes its way up to the beach.
A concert featuring Billy Lawlor will begin at 7:30 p.m. there, followed by fireworks over the beach.
