Golf Outing to Raise Funds for Spring Lake First Aid Squad

Spring Lake Heights Mayor invites borough residents to attend event at Spring Lake Golf Club

Golfers and non-golfers alike are invited to attend the Spring Lake First Aid Squad's annual fundraiser on Aug. 6 at the Spring Lake Golf Club on Warren Avenue in Spring Lake Heights.

Mayor Frances Enright of Spring Lake Heights encouraged her town's residents to come out to the event which holds something for everyone.

"It's for a good cause," Enright said during her report at Monday night's council meeting.

The volunteer, non-profit Spring Lake First Aid Squad serves Spring Lake Heights residents, seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Golfers can choose an 8 a.m. or 1 p.m. tee time at the cost of $95 each according to a flyer distributed by the event organizers.

Meanwhile, non-golfers can opt for an 11:30 a.m. lunch or 5 p.m. dinner with cocktails. A $40 donation covers either lunch or dinner.

Sponsorships ranging in price from $100 to $350 are also available according to organizers.
