Italian food. Italian wines. And, of course, lots of Italian everything filled the streets of downtown Belmar on Saturday as the Feast of San Gennaro at the Jersey Shore took over for the day.

The celebration, presented by Nicchio Ristorante in Belmar and modeled on the celebration that began in New York's Little Italy in the 1920s, features much to enjoy whether you are Italian or not.

The feast, named for the patron saint of Naples, continues today.
