Benefit for the Quincy Lee Foundation Set

Henry Wright's Heart 3rd annual event will begin at 6 p.m. on Sept. 19

A fundraising dinner to benefit the Quincy Lee Foundation, an organization that supports children with cancer, will be held at the Parker House on September 19.

"For $50.00 you get all you can eat and drink from over 18 restaurants," said Quincy Lee Foundation founder, Lisa Lee.

There will be three bands and a DJ playing throughout the night -- Billy Lawlor, Todd Robbins and Joe Barricatto. Additionally, there will be an auction and free cab rides home. The restaurants in attendance will include: Parker House, Columns, Langosta Lounge, the Boathouse and more featuring their specialty dishes.

A silent auction and a gift auction will be held where participants can try their luck at winning various smaller items and two of the biggest prizes of the night -- a share of a Thoroughbred race horse and vacation time at a condominium in Vermont.

All of the money raised will go toward pediatric cancer research and treatment and fund a fellowship for a cancer researcher.

According to Lee, the Foundation was established in honor of her 6-year-old daughter who died of cancer in 2004. This event is held to honor Henry Wright, a former owner of the Parker House who passed away in 2009.

"Henry really loved the food part of the operation of the Parker House," said Lee. "Henry liked to keep food prices reasonable at the Parker House, so we keep the ticket price at $50 per person."

The Parker House is located at First Ave. & Beacon Blvd. in Sea Girt. For more information about the Quincy Lee Foundation, visit www.quincylee.org.
