The Jersey Shore will tangle with the first nor'easter of the 2013 fall season this week.
storm has formed from the remnants of Tropical Storm Karen and is
expected to move up the east coast starting Wednesday. Our area will
likely see the first rain drops late today or early this evening.
tidal flooding and beach erosion, as well as seas between 7 and 10 feet
offshore, will accompany the storm through Friday. A small craft
advisory was in effect through Wednesday night and was expected to be
extended. Coastal flooding and beach erosion could be locally moderate.
Clouds will stick around through Monday, forecasters said.
