BEGIN:VCALENDAR PRODID;X-RICAL-TZSOURCE=TZINFO:-//com.denhaven2/NONSGML ri_cal gem//EN CALSCALE:GREGORIAN VERSION:2.0 BEGIN:VEVENT DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, August 4th\, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. &ndash\; 4:00 p.m.\, (Rain Date is Aug. 5th) The Historic Village at Allaire will be h osting the Seventh Annual &ldquo\;Ducky Derby&rdquo\;! \; This year\ , there are three ways to participate in the Ducky Derby! \; This ye ar&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Ducky Derby&rdquo\; will have more fun events so the entire family can participate and cheer for their favorite duck.\nFor C orporate Sponsors and adults\, there will be five heat races and the win ners of those five races will compete in the final winner&rsquo\;s race to see which duck will bring home the grand prize of $500 in gift certif icates. \; There will also be a loser&rsquo\;s race\, where the lose rs from each of the five heats will compete for the biggest loser award.  \; Ducks are available for adoption by calling the Allaire Village office at 732-919-3500. \; The cost of a duck is a $100 tax-deductib le contribution to Allaire Village Incorporated.\nAllaire Village Incorp orated is a 501C3 non-profit corporation registered in the State of New Jersey. \; All funds from this event will benefit the educational an d interpretive programs at Allaire Village Incorporated. \; All entr ants will receive a certificate of authenticity\, a letter stating that they have made a tax-deductible contribution and after the race their ve ry own duck that raced in the competition (all ducks are plastic).\nFor children\, we have the &ldquo\;Ducky Splash&rdquo\;! \; Kids can pur chase a duck for $3.00 and race their duck to win prizes &ndash\; every child wins a prize and can keep their duck. \; For children ages 2 & ndash\; 5 years\, we have the &ldquo\;Lucky Ducky&rdquo\;! \; Childr en can purchase\, for $3.00\, the opportunity to &lsquo\;fish&rsquo\; fo r a duck. \; Each duck has a prize and children can keep their duck\ , too! \; What a great day of fun for everyone!\nThis will be a day of family fun with FREE face painting\, animal balloons\, games\, and lo ts of &ldquo\;Ducky Derby&rdquo\; fun (face painting and animal balloons are subject to availability) \; The event runs from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. near the Mill Pond. \; While at the &ldquo\;Ducky Derby&rdquo\; \, visitors are welcome to visit the various historic buildings in the V illage. \;\nAllaire Village Incorporated presents this fun-filled fa mily event. \; Allaire Village Incorporated is licensed to operate t he 40-acre\, Historic Village at Allaire\, site of James P.
