No Belmar Resident it is you who are Ignorant. Lets start with you having enough belief in what you Read Moreare saying to identify yourself. Secondly, did you read the article you reference? If you really read it I don't think you would be so insistent in your position.....but lets start by saying who you are. You use my name when you post and others, lets hear your we are responding to.

@Belmar Resident, your agenda is a clear diversion from an opposition point of view from a womanRead Moretha t has respectfully and clearly presented a view to save money for Belmar taxpayers. I also received a flyer from Ms. DeSanctis and it most certainly DID NOT say to not rebuild the pavilions, in that respect Belmar Resident you're lying. The flyer states to rebuild the pavilions for 4.1 Million instead of 7 Million Dollars. What has been clearly misleading is the propaganda you and the mayor have been spreading. The vote is about how much money to spend to construct the pavilions not whether or not to rebuild them. Most residents now recognize that our taxes for the last three years have not increased due to borrowing another 4.5 Million that will also be burdened on the taxpayer very shortly. I do not want more taxes from reconstruction of the pavilions when they can be built with no taxpayer debt. We need to build what we can afford and we can afford to build within the budget of 4.1 Million from FEMA and insurance.

The engineering costs on the pavilions to date is $1,035,501.00. Something is terribly wrong withRead Morewh at is happening in Belmar regarding spending residents' money. Over one million dollars just for engineering? From all accounts by professionals in engineering who now have had the opportunity to review the numbers confirmed this amount of money is appalling and inconsistent with industry standards.
