Final score was 12-10 after coming back from a 6 run deficit with only 2 innings left to play! The Read Moreteam also known as the Shore Storm during the regular season, had two furious comebacks during two games in the tournament to help secure the trophy.

What slimy and ridiculous antics are these now? The issue is about spending $7 million dollars toRead Moreb uild 2 pavilions WITH taxpayer backed borrowing or to spend $4 million dollars to build 2 pavilions WITHOUT taxpayer backed borrowing. Is this smear tactic from some pro-spending playbook that says “ … ignore the true issue and go directly on the personal attack of any messengers that are in opposition of more borrowing”? Desperate times call for desperate measures I suppose. The NY Times article that was linked to this “Opinion” piece was actually quite informative about the issue regarding this women and, for me, if my child (minor or adult) was in some perceived danger, I would commit that same type of kidnapping. Vote NO so that Belmar will be required to build the 2 pavilions for only the $4 million that is being promised by FEMA and the insurance carrier.

I will post again when the New York Times does a follow up piece "When a candidate is aRead Morekidnapp er, loses, and then gets involved again." Tom and Dave, you guys really need a new leader. Enjoy your bliss.

I can only assume that the Belmar resident posting is pristine and so clean and pious that he canRead Morekn ock someone else. I read that article and do not see a link of any kind to what Joy is trying to do. It certainly isn't for any rewards. Maybe lower taxes for us all. I really can't see any employment benefits coming to her from this. And you Belmar Resident when you do get your new water and tax bill when this is over I would like to be there.

The engineering costs on the pavilions to date is $1,035,501.00. Something is terribly wrong withRead Morewh at is happening in Belmar regarding spending residents' money. Over one million dollars just for engineering? From all accounts by professionals in engineering who now have had the opportunity to review the numbers confirmed this amount of money is appalling and inconsistent with industry standards.
