Belmar Police during the first half of June issued nearly 650 motor vehicle tickets and borough ordinance summonses, according to a department release.

Now isn't this a perfect snip-it of what is going on around here, in Belmar. I hope the Mayor, Matt Doherty, sees this news, as it should enlighten him as to what we residents are being subjected to by our "tourists.' Seems like we need some more officers with all the lewdness, public urination, vandalism, trespassing on private property , thefts, disorderly persons, overcrowd ing of group rentals, parking violations, excessive noise all night, to name a few sites in the south section of Belmar! Signed, Sleepless in Belmar, Again.

If you don't like belmar sell your house for 700k and move to seaside park or Barnegat Light. You'll break even on the sale, hate lower taxes, and get some sleep. Same advice goes to the cry babies trying to ruin point pleasant. Signed, lived here my whole life and know what's up.

You might want to check your math, Patch. 529 + 215 is 744, not 650.. How can I believe I am getting reliable news from you if you can't manage simple addition?
