Gas prices keep climbing, and this week they're an average of 6 cents higher than last week.

The average price for a gallon of regular grade gasoline at cash price in the area is $3.35, up from $2.29 last week.

While prices keep rising, the one constant seems to be where motorists can find the cheapest gallons -- Gulf on Route 35 at Allaire Road in Wall, where prices this week start at $3.27 per gallon.

The cheapest gas in Manasquan can be found at the Route 71 Lukoil for $3.31 per gallon, while Belmar's two filling stations -- Shell on Route 35 and Getty on Main Street -- are among the most expensive in the area, charging $3.45 and $3.46, respectively.
