Colonel issues statement on retired General's death

Statement as released by State Police Colonel Rick Fuentes:

The State Police family mourn the death of retired General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, son of our founding superintendent Colonel Herbert Norman Schwarzkopf, who wore badge number one.

We have been privileged to have had General Schwarzkopf as an honored guest at several of our milestone events through the years.

He is an important part of the history of our country, and will be remembered by us as a part of the State Police family.

A great man! God Bless Brenda and the children. Life without him will seem dull!

Been looking @ some of the interviews of current Geberals. They pale in comparison. This man spoke with conviction, new his subject and took no nonsense. A reporter who got clever with him, was not smart.
