S.L.H. Man Indicted on Heroin Dealing Charges

Arrested with two others in Neptune late last year

 

A Spring Lake Heights man was indicted by a grand jury on heroin distribution charges, documents show. 

Christopher Hammell, 28, of Beverly Avenue, faces three counts stemming from a December incident in which he allegedly distributed heroin in Neptune, the indictment says. 

Hammel, along with two other local men, were arrested Dec. 10, 2011, for various alleged crimes. 

Hammel faces charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. All are third-degree crimes. 

Kyle Sawicki, 21, of Neptune, faces identical charges. 

Michael Grabowski, 30, of Eatontown, is charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
