SATs in Manasquan Moved to Nov. 17
School Board president says district taking closings "day by day"
Manasquan's scheduled SATs for Saturday have been moved back a week for Nov. 17, according to officials.
Schools remain closed but officials are operating on a "day-by-day" basis, School Board President Michelle LaSala said.
The Honeywell system will continue to update parents on school closing and other information, LaSala said.
"As soon as we get power, we're ready to go," she said.
LaSala said she's hearing the same as everyone else: seven to 10 days until power is restored.
But she said she's hoping for the best, and pointed to areas like Red Bank that have regained electricity in spots.
Officials have said the hardest hit areas will take the longest to restore.
