A high wind warning was in effect throughout the day on Friday as a low pressure system passed through the Jersey Shore.
Sustained winds between 20 and 30 miles per hour were reported along with gusts near 60 miles per hour.
The storm brought heavy surf to the area, though the strong winds made for less than ideal conditions for local surfers.
