Manasquan Police Investigating Two Thefts
Residents reported stolen lawn ornaments, iPhone last week
The Manasquan Police Department is investigating two thefts that were reported the same day last week, according to authorities.
Residents on East Main Street reported June 25 that two clay turtle statues were stolen from their porch the previous weekend, Chief Elliott Correia said this week.
The clay statues each weigh 30 pounds and were orange and green in color, Correia said.
The East Main Street home is located in the beach area, Correia said.
Patrolman John Mahoney is investigating the incident, according to a department release.
Also on June 25, a resident reported a theft of an iPhone on Highway 71, the release says.
Sgt. Gregory Restivo is investigating the incident, the release says.
