Manasquan has requested the Tide Company Loads of Hope program to come to Manasquan to help residents and military organizations clean their clothes, officials said.
Currently, Tide Loads of Hope has been in Eatontown and Freehold. However, residents have requested a need to clean clothes as a result of the Hurricane Sandy Disaster, officials said.
Additionally, the National Guard, who have been activated in Manasquan, would be greatly helped by washing their uniforms, according to a release from the borough.
According to Tide’s Facebook Page, they receive “on the ground updates from their partner American Red Cross and continue to evaluate other sites in need of hope.” However, there have been no sitings of the American Red Cross in Manasquan, the release says..
Manasquan is asking for your help.
You can contact the Loads of Hope program at 1-800-879-8433 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or their website: http://www.facebook.com/Tide?sk=app_188067517895388, their fan appreciation site http://www.facebook.com/TideLoadsofHope?ref=ts&fref=ts and their twitter page and tell Tide that, "We need you in Manasquan for our residents and National Guard," the release says.
