Beach badge prices, lifeguard hours

The southernmost beach in Monmouth County, Manasquan is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. With several miles of beachfront, Manasquan is a great destination for surfers, fishermen or anyone looking for fun in the sun.

  • Beach badges: $70 for seasonal pass; $8 daily. Senior citizen badges for ages 65 and older are $25. Children from 12 to 16 are $35, and children younger than 12 are free (birth certificates required). Required on weekends beginning Memorial Day weekend and daily after June 16. They can be purchased, cash only, at the Beach Office.
  • Lifeguard hours: Weekends until 5 p.m. beginning Memorial Day; daily beginning June 16 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
  • Parking: There are four municipal parking lots within walking distance of the beach. Street parking also is available.
  • Bathrooms: Comfort stations are located along the beachwalk.
  • Food and drink: Food and drink are allowed on Manasquan beaches. Glass and alcohol are prohibited.
  • Fireworks: Memorial Day, Saturday, May 26 (rain date May 27); Independence Day, Tuesday, July 3 (rain date July 7); Labor Day, Saturday, Sept. 1 (rain date Sept. 2).
