Alleged Leaf-Blower Thief Indicted
Faces three counts in Superior Court stemming from Bradley Beach burglary
A Brick man was indicted this week on charges he broke into a Bradley Beach home and stole a leaf-blower late last year, documents show.
Police also charged Michael Britton, 25, of Maple Avenue, with unlawful possession of a prescription drug -- alprazolam -- when he was arrested in the borough on Dec. 16, the indictment says.
The leaf-blower was valued at $500, the indictment says.
Alprazolam, which goes by the brand names of Xanax and Niravam, is used to treat anxiety disorders and panic disorder, according to the National Institutes of Health.
Britton faces third-degree charges of burglary, theft of movable property, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, according to the indictment signed by County Prosecutor Peter E. Warshaw Jr.

Pretty nifty looking leaf blower there. Might have been able to get 6 bucks for it.

Dan's right. That's just a file photo of "a" leaf-blower, not "the" leaf-blower.
