Belmar Police made six arrests the first half of January, according to a department release.
Two arrests were for simple assault, while the rest were for criminal trespass, illegal credit card use, driving while intoxicated and contempt of court, the release says.
Only two of the individuals arrested were from Belmar, and another was a Lake Como resident, the release says.
The arrests took place between Jan. 3 and Jan. 11, the release says.
All crimes are alleged as each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:
- Armondo Garcia-Sanchez, of Belmar, was arrested Jan. 3 for simple assault in the 100 block of 12th Avenue. Officers Michael Campbell and Michael Allen made the arrest.
- Randi Stokes, of Ocean Grove, was arrested Jan. 4 for illegal credit card use at the 7-Eleven on Route 35 in the borough. Officers Todd Lee and Michael Yee made the arrest.
- Charles Foster, of Asbury Park, was arrested Jan. 5 for driving while intoxicated at the corner of 16th Avenue and Route 71. Sgt. William Aker and Officer Nicholas Walsifer made the arrest.
- Matthew Dumont, of Summit, was arrested for simple assault on Jan. 6 in the 900 block of Route 35. Sgt. Sean Pringle and Officer Michael Allen made the arrest.
- Filadelfo Herrera-Hernandez, of Belmar, was arrested Jan. 8 for criminal trespass in the 600 block of 12th Avenue. Sgt. Tina Scott and Officer John Garrecht made the arrest.
- Felipe Ramirez-Ruiz, of Lake Como, was arrested Jan. 11 at Borough Hall for contempt of court. Sgt. Sean Pringle made the arrest.
