Bradley Beach Hikes its Badge Prices

Badges are required beginning Memorial Day weekend

A popular location on the shore, Bradley Beach can trace its roots back to the 1600s.

Like most towns there are seasonal as well as daily badges available: $70 adults; $30 seniors (62 and older); $25 juniors (ages 14-15); Free for children 13 and younger; $8 daily pass. 

Beach badges are required on weekends beginning Memorial Day weekend; daily starting June 20 through Labor Day. Badges are on sale at town hall, located at 701 Main St. and booth locations. They can only be purchased with cash or check, and there are no mail transactions. Checks should be made payable to the Borough of Bradley Beach.

Lifeguard hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends starting May 25 through June 16 including holidays. Starting June 22, 2013 Lifeguards will be on duty daily through Labor Day.

Parking: East side of Ocean Avenue is metered; free street parking on the west side.

Food and drinks are allowed. Alcohol and smoking is prohibited. 

The beach is accessible to those who use wheelchairs at both Newark and Second Avenue. Beach chairs are available for people with disabilities.

Fishing allowed on beach jetties at Lake Terrace, Park Place, Brinley and Second Avenues at the discretion of lifeguards.

Surfing is allowed at the Third Avenue Beach.

Public restrooms are located on Newark, LaReine, Third and Evergreen Avenues. Showers are located on the beach. Changing Rooms are located and Cliff and Third Avenues.

Bicycles are allowed from midnight until 10 a.m. during the beach season.
